Atlar adds support for all SAML 2.0 Single Sign-On (SSO) Providers
User authentication and security is paramount for our customers that use the Atlar platform daily to consolidate financial data from multiple banks and manage sensitive payment and treasury operations.
That’s why we’re pleased to announce that Atlar now supports all Single Sign-On (SSO) providers using the SAML 2.0 protocol—including major identity providers such as AWS IAM Identity Center, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, and Okta.
Why SSO matters
With SSO support, organizations can integrate Atlar directly with their existing identity provider. This means employees can log in using a single set of credentials managed by their IT team, eliminating the need for separate passwords or tokens. This has three key benefits:
- User experience: Connecting Atlar to your identity provider allows you to quickly and securely invite team members to start using Atlar, and enable them to log in seamlessly without additional accounts to manage.
- Enhanced security: Managing credentials through your existing identity provider lets you control access to Atlar centrally. This reduces the risk of weak or reused passwords and lets you grant and remove access easily during onboarding and off-boarding.
- Streamlined compliance: Our SSO integrations mean that Atlar is, by default, always aligned with your organization’s identity management and security policies, simplifying compliance with internal and external requirements.
On top of this, Atlar provides a range of additional security features including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and four-eyes principle checks for sensitive actions like payment approvals, providing another layer of protection.
What’s new
In addition to supporting major identity providers such as AWS IAM Identity Center, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, and Okta, Atlar now supports any SSO provider that conforms to the SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) 2.0 specification.
Our user authentication functionality is provider-agnostic—effectively meaning that we’re able to support all of our customers’ existing authentication setups. As of today, AWS IAM Identity Center, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, and Okta are all verified and in use on the Atlar platform.
Setting up SSO on Atlar is simple. Visit our documentation for a step-by-step guide to configure your preferred identity provider.
