Too many logins, too many spreadsheets
Vivenu is a SaaS company reinventing the global ticketing industry. Founded in 2018 with the mission to give event organizers full control over their ticketing and customer data, Vivenu now powers 800+ organizations across 40+ countries, with more than six offices worldwide. As the company scales, it is determined that finance should never become a bottleneck to growth.
But with entities in Germany, the US, and Switzerland, and relationships across both traditional and modern banks, Vivenu’s treasury was becoming increasingly complex. Steffen Pyka, VP Finance and HR, recalls the frustration of a fragmented setup: logging into multiple banks just to view balances, manually consolidating statements in Excel for investor reporting, and managing payments across disconnected platforms.
These low-value but time-consuming tasks drained resources and slowed down reporting. The inefficiencies also made investor reporting more painful and time-consuming than it needed to be.
"Every month I had to log into each bank, download statements, and prepare reports in Excel for our investors," says Steffen. "It was frustrating, time-consuming, and added no real value."
